The Goal: Reducing Alcohol Use

The New Mexico Department of Health created an initiative to help the public understand the realities of alcohol. The angle of approach considered the many reasons why people use alcohol in their every day lives and took into consideration the fact that the average person resists messaging that suggests change in personal choices. This fact-based approach was meant to present the option of reduction to allow an individual that may be struggling with their alcohol use a chance to evaluate their situation.
